JOIN US! We run a a culture club for families with children adopted from Korea in Victoria, Australia. Our emphasis remains to provide a program of culturally based activities to increase the children's knowledge and awareness of their cultural heritage, as well as allowing time for free play and the development of friendships. Parents are required to attend and work with their children. Download our handbook here. Han-Ho Minis is for new parents and their babies and children up to 3 years of age. We have introduced a Home Corner area for babies and some simple tasks for the toddlers. Han-Ho Maxis is for children aged 4 plus years of age. Parents and Korean helpers provide a program of culturally relevant activities between 1pm - 5pm being afternoon tea and free play time. Han-Ho Big Kids is for kids aged 8 -12, and meet several times a year, enjoying a variety of activities such as indoor rock climbing, cooking, ten pin bowling, etc. We hold a variety of incursions and excursions, with sessions held on a mixture of Saturdays and Sundays to help keep the variety and the accessibility levels high. Parents-in-waiting are invited to come too. Han-Ho Kids' Club Inc accepts no responsibility for the care and welfare of any child attending Han-Ho Kids' Club sessions. Parents or carers are responsible for the care and supervision of their own children at all times. Please refer to the 2006 Handbook for additional safety information.
